ALPHABETICA under the honorary patronage of the Polish Ministry of Education

Official sources of the Polish Ministry of Education have recently informed that the ALPHABETICA project will be under the honorary patronage of the Ministry. The decision is the result of the collaboration carried out during the last months.

On 9 April 2025 an important meeting took place between the Polish ALPHABETICA project team and the Secretary of State of the Ministry of National Education, Mrs Joanna Mucha. They met in Krakow at the iconic Nowa Prowincja café.

The discussion focused on cooperation in the implementation of the project, support for the development of art or art-based methods within the education system, and the development of recommendations in this field at both national and European level.

In addition to Minister Joanna Mucha, the meeting was attended by Urszula Majcher Legawiec from the Mikołaj Rej Foundation, Jakub Kościółek (the Polish coordinator of the ALPHABETICA project) and Adam Bulandra (project team member).

‘We are excited about the Ministry’s continued collaboration and support for actions that are transforming the educational space to be more inclusive, open and creative,’ said the Interkulturalni partners.
