As part of the ALPHABETICA pilot action OCWA (Our Caring World Through Art), Year 7 students took part in an inspiring extended reality (XR) experience at The Open University in Milton Keynes.

After taking part in a co-creation activity led by our UK team, the children were able to bring their drawings and stories to life through music and animation.

This visit marked the end of a year-long co-creation project, providing students with the chance to work with professional XR technologies, such as motion capture, green screens, recording booths, and LED backdrops, to bring their creative ideas to life.

Throughout the day, the students demonstrated creativity, confidence, and teamwork, engaging with cutting-edge technology and contributing to internationally significant research.
