Target age group: young people aged 15-18
INSPIRE aspires to foster the importance of using artistic expressions through various forms and techniques to promote social inclusion of people from different backgrounds and age groups (adults and youths) by enhancing societal transformation and knowledge transfer through lifelong experiences (old to the young), talent transfer. By providing a space where individuals can utilise their spare time to engage in creative and self-development activities and thereby realise their potential, this pilot aims to foster a sense of community and personal growth.

The pilot’s activities will be conducted in diverse societal environments, including both urban and rural social settings, involving different age groups of people with different artistic ambitions and interests (urban and rural artists; amateur artists). Recognising that individuals have different learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds, this pilot strives to create an environment that accommodates these differences.

What is expected to be reached by this pilot action?

ASSORTMENT
In order to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the topic at hand, this pilot activities will be conducted in a diverse range of societal contexts, different cultural, economic, and geographical backgrounds, providing a more holistic view of the subject. The aim is to capture the nuances and complexities that may exist within different communities.
INCLUSIVE
By choosing a non-formal educational setting, we aim to provide a more flexible and informal learning environment that encourages active participation and engagement from all participants. This setting allows for a more relaxed and interactive approach to learning. The collaborative aspect of our initiative emphasises the importance of working together and sharing ideas and experiences, learning from one another.
ENGAGEMENT
The pilot activities are co-created along with key stakeholders at national level, including artists. cultural associations in the various local communities in urban and rural areas. The selected artist will carry out a month-long residency with the participants with the aim of creating and training them in new artistic techniques and exploring and developing participants’ artistic capabilities with a view to creating a collective work of art and craft products.
A rigorous analysis of the activities carried out and the impact obtained will be performed, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the data collected, including interviews, focus groups, and observations, allowing the research team to gain a deeper understanding of the experiences and perspectives of individuals within each societal context. This will establish a strong basis for replication, forthcoming research, and enhance the overall comprehension of the subject being investigated. Moreover, it will effectively inform the process of policy-making.
