ALPHABETICA contributes to the creation of more inclusive and creative schools across Europe
NewsALPHABETICA’s Interkulturalni partner participated in the 14th KBnM PAN Conference: “Migration in Local and Global Contexts” which took place in Lublin, Poland, on 24-26 September 2025. This annual conference, organised by the Committee on Migration Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, brings together an interdisciplinary community of scholars from all over Poland and abroad. It is one of the most important academic events on migration in Poland. This year it was hosted by Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin.
The conference focuses on the interconnectedness of migration processes: from global trends and migration policies to their impact on local communities and individual life trajectories. During the event, the Interkulturalni members gave a presentation titled: “ALPHABETICA: Art as a Space for Integration and Counteracting Educational Poverty in a Child-Centred Multicultural School”.
Presenting this project to such a distinguished audience of migration scholars was an important step in disseminating the ideas of ALPHABETICA and building collaborative networks to promote more inclusive and creative schools across Europe.
